I am so honored that you stopped by today! For me, life is one big adventure and the more trips I take around the sun the more I find the beauty in each part of the journey. Whether you are blissfully engaged, happily married, preparing to bring forth new life, or find yourself rekindling the spark, we want to hear from you. It is our mission to serve and support couples no matter what stage of life you are in.
The first time I stepped onto the property at Linwood Estate I fell in love. It is full of grandeur and romance, yet intimately tucked away in the countryside of Carlisle, Pennsylvania surrounded by flowing fields. The property also has one of the coolest histories stemming from the couple who lived their decades ago and raised their six girls there. When the collaboration for an inspiration shoot came up, I was immediately on board and couldn’t wait to dive in. We wanted to highlight the gorgeous, bright indoor space that Linwood’s mansion provides for smaller ceremonies and intimate receptions, as well as, the beautiful, soft color palette of greens and pinks that unfolds on the property when everything is in full bloom. Enter sweet, sweet Danielle of Your Sweetest Day Events. Not only does she live up to her name, but she exceeds it. With her help we were able to bring in several talented vendors to help bring the vision together.
When looking for a couple to be at the center of it all, I knew I wanted a true couple deep in love that would take my prompts and direction as naturally as could be. Enter Katherine and Waylen. Their names just sound like one of those couples you read about in the best of romantic novels. And as fate would have it, they were celebrating their first wedding anniversary the weekend of the shoot! I knew it was destiny. What better way for these two lovebirds to celebrate than to get all dressed up and literally relive their wedding day? Katherine had us picking our jaws up off the floor and Waylen kept the mood light and full of laughter.
Surrounded by dreamy pink, mauve, and white florals and details, Katherine stunned in BHLDN’s Cassia Gown. And as we moved from on location on the property to another, you could just see the love exuding from these two bringing the vision to life in a way that was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Katherine and Waylen’s fun and energetic spirits shined through and we had them running down Linwood’s long lane amongst the trees and gardens (puddles and all!).
All in all, it was a beautiful collaboration amongst wedding vendors that I am so honored to say have become friends. I hope that these photographs not only showcase the talents and creations involved (I mean, have you seen the tablescape yet?), but offer inspiration to any couple looking for a light and airy, romantic wedding. And make sure to scroll all the way down for all of the amazing participating vendors and links to their websites! If you’re planning your wedding day you will for sure want to check them out (and even if you’re not and just want to add some pretty to your day!).

“Those that truly love, have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree not two.” – Louis de Bernières
Last weekend Lilly and I got to photograph a wedding day at one of my favorite venues, Harmony Hall Estate. The beautifully restored farmhouse with loads of white walls and huge windows. The gorgeous outdoor ceremony space where the couple stands at the top of a rock formation as water flows down from it. The super cool stone foundation that still remains from the original barn. Pair all of that beauty with a super sweet couple and you’ve got a match made in Heaven.
The first time I photographed Dana and Mike was last fall when I traveled to their hometown of Baltimore and we explored Inner Harbor together. And before we knew it June had rolled around and it was wedding time! The details of Dana’s Stella York wedding gown paired with her pastel blue heels and a veil also worn by her mother and grandmother on their wedding days made for absolute perfection. It’s easy to see why the men closest to Dana (scroll down to see what I mean!) kept getting choked up when seeing her for the first time.
Their ceremony was lead by one of our favorites, Reverend Reenie Panzini, who lead the most touching ceremony that included the above quote that is now one of my favorites. Later on in the day, Dana and Mike shared their first dance as husband and wife to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect. The words of this song ring so true for the couple as they met when they were 15. “…Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me, ‘Cause we were just kids when we fell in love…”. And as the night went on, Klock Entertainment did a fantastic job keeping everyone on the dance floor. From parent dances to Tom Petty’s Wild Flowers and Phil Collins You’ll be in my heart (cue the tears!) to everyone pulling out their best dance moves for Imagine Dragon’s Thunder and Lightning.
It was a perfect day and we could not be more honored to have been there to capture it all. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Denchy!

This week we photographed a super special wedding. Mal was not only the lead photographer of this sweet elopement, but she was also the host. It was the first wedding that ever took place on her property, right in front of their beautiful willow tree and pond, and it surely will not be the last.
Jen and Zach have been together for ages and when it came down to wedding planning they knew from the beginning they wanted a small intimate celebration. Something that was just about the two of them and nobody else. Something simple, but oh so meaningful. They both got ready here in the studio (how fun?!) and we got to play coordinators, photographers, and hosts all in one (well, two haha). Jen kept the dress a surprise from Zach, so when she started to make her way down the hill, it was hard for all of us not to tear up. The ceremony was so sweet and relaxed with the calming sound of the water behind us and birds softly chirping all around us. Surrounded by mother nature and all her beauty!
After the ceremony we hopped around the property for some fun photo taking and then these two adventure-loving newlyweds were off to make their way down to the airport for their honeymoon in AFRICA! Their next weeks will consist of safaris and lion spotting, can you believe it? I know we can’t wait to see pictures and hear all of the stories!
Congratulations, Jen and Zach! We hope your marriage will be just as special and loving as your big day! And spot a lion or two for us!
It’s always a blessing to photograph a wedding at Riverdale Manor. Everything about this place exudes elegance and warmth, yet it is also intimate and romantic. Add in Sam and Allison and their gorgeous wedding day and voila! This adorable duo is as sweet as pie and their families were more than welcoming to us, too. We started off our time with Sam and Allison by capturing a few candids before the first look. When it came time for Allison to surprise her soon-to-be-hubby, Lilly and I were just as excited as they were! The looks on their faces were priceless and their reactions to one another gave you all the warm, lovey-dovey feelings that wedding days are made of.
Some of my favorite details of the day were all of the personal touches. A family friend of Sam’s, Sugar Mountain Farms, created all of the stunning floral arrangements. And Allison’s mom, Judy, grew all of the succulents that were included in those creations. We even got to come home with a few at the end of the night! And specifically in Allison’s bouquet they added a pin from her grandmother and lace from her mom’s veil. So sweet! And speaking of sweetness, Allison’s dad worked for Hershey so of course there was no shortage of Hershey’s chocolate kisses to snack on throughout the day. Allison’s dress is also one of my favorite’s that I’ve ever had the honor to photograph. An amazing Stella York creation that she found at The Coastal Knot in North Carolina, the state she and Sam now call home.
When it came time for the ceremony these two lovebirds were surrounded by their closest family and friends; including their siblings and their families (with the most adorable ring bearer who lovingly refers to Sam as “Uncle Ham”) and the college gang from their time at Susquehanna University. They all were an wonderful group of people to celebrate with and we honestly were sad to see the night end. Thankfully we keep in touch with all of our Mallory McClure Photography couples! In the words of Allison, “You’ll have a hard time getting rid of us.” Thank goodness, because we don’t want to ever lose touch!
As Sam and Allison approach their first anniversary I am honored to share some of their gorgeous day with you! Their first year of marriage has been a wonderful one and we can’t wait to see where the rest of the journey takes them!

“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” – Thornton Wilder
Last Saturday’s wedding was a sweet reminder that we should always be aware of our treasures. Melissa and Dave embraced the rainy weather and were simply happy to be married and celebrating with their closest friends and family. From the adorable church to dancing the night away at the Hollywood Casino, their smiles never faded. Their laughter was infectious and seeing these two families come together as one was heartwarming. During the ceremony, Melissa knelt down to Dave’s youngest son, Aaron, and vowed herself to him, as well. Whew! There was not a dry eye in the church – ours included!
I had the pleasure of reuniting with Juke Box Hits that evening who DJ’d Ryan and I’s wedding almost ten years ago. We reminisced back to that day, caught up on the present, and gushed about our kiddos in between dinner and dances. Throughout the night the bridal party entertained us with their classic moves on the dance floor (sprinkler anyone?), while others jumped into the photobooth for a good laugh. One of them most touching moments of the night came from the anniversary dance in which we discovered the couple who has been married the longest; a dear, sweet husband and wife who jokingly shared their secret to success, “Happy wife, happy life.”
Overall, the day was a beautiful one no matter what mother nature was throwing at us. Thank you, Melissa and Dave, for allowing us to join you on your wedding day! We are overjoyed for you both and can’t wait to see where the journey of marriage takes you!

So this wedding right here was so special to me for many reasons. Not only have I known Maria, the stunning bride, her entire life, but I was the flower girl in her mom’s wedding and our families have been friends for longer than I can remember. It was such a blessing to see everything come full circle and get to photograph her beautiful day when she married her best friend, Ryan.
Ryan and Maria met at Messiah College. And whether they are staying in to binge watch Netflix or heading out to check out the latest movie, their time is always full of laughter (mostly do to Ryan and his jovial nature) and love. When I met with Maria and Ryan for the first time to chat about their wedding day I also learned that Ryan and I shared a love for The Game of Thrones and I knew he and I were going to get along juuust fine.
The two began their wedding weekend at the forever stunning Lily Manor which just so happens to be one of my favorite wedding venues! While the girls relaxed while getting their hair and make up complete, the boys took advantage of their down time joking around with one another. When I arrived the vibe was completely serene and you knew it was just going to be one of those amazing days witnessing two families coming together. It came time for the ceremony and we traveled down the road a bit to the couples’ church where Maria and Ryan took a quiet moment to pray over their day and then immersed themselves into their beautiful ceremony. And as Maria made her way down the aisle holding on to her dad and her late grandmother’s handkerchief, Ryan beamed from ear to ear. Led by family friends, Ryan’s dad, and Maria’s sister, the ceremony was full of awe-inspiring music and beautiful testimony as everyone sang along and took in the message.
After the ceremony we ventured back to Lily Manor for photos and cocktail hour. And when it came time for introductions and toasts Maria’s sister, Brooke, presented the sweetest surprise for her sister and new brother-in-law. We all knew Brooke was musically gifted, but as she played the piano and sang the song she wrote for Ryan and Maria we all teared up and smiled at the beautiful words she sang.
The rest of the evening included dancing, LOTS of laughter, and amazing food. And can we talk about those ah-mazing floral pieces that hung above each table?! Such a cool idea and allowed their guests to chat over dinner without anything obstructing their view of one another plus extra table space to showcase their favors; tiny bottles of Heinz Ketchup in honor of Ryan’s passion for it. It was exactly the perfect kind of wedding day I would wish for, for this adorable couple and I am so honored I got to be a part of it. Congratulations Maria + Ryan!

Oh my, have we been impatiently waiting to share this stunning wedding day with you! Paige and Dustin met through their shared love for Crossfit and it didn’t take long for them to notice one another. For Paige, she knew something was different about Dustin when she first heard him cheering her on. Fast forward through numerous date nights checking out local breweries, visits to the gym, and hikes together and Dustin found himself on one knee by the reflective pool in Washington, D.C. This adventurous couple tied the knot on the lovely property of the Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey which perfectly blended their love for the outdoors and all things brewed. I personally could not have been more honored as I have known Paige since we were little girls and have had the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for many of her guests. And to now be a part of their day brought our friendship full circle.
Paige and Dustin chose to start out their day with a first look (boy do we ever love those!) and it could not have been sweeter. When Dustin began to tear up the moment he felt Paige’s hand on his shoulder and she spun him around, well, it was all over for us, too. The butterflies were in full force and the energy between these two sweet souls was evident. They are meant for each other!
A little while later they were joined by their bridal party and before we knew it, it was time to compose all of the laughter and fun and prepare for the moment we had all been waiting for. Reverend Reenie Panzini led a beautiful ceremony while guests enjoyed their cups of hot apple cider. We smiled as we captured gatherings of multiple generations and while Paige’s adorable niece and flower girl, Emilie, stole the show. And as we joined the celebration led by the always amazing 3 West Productions, Paige and Dustin shared their first dance to a live performance. What followed were the sweetest toasts from both Paige’s sister (written as a story in true teacher form) and Dustin’s brother who had us laughing through our tears of joy. And as the night continued we enjoyed a delicious meal thanks to the JDK Group (yum!) and a packed dance floor. Needless to say it was one of the greats and we could think of no better couple.

Oh where to start? We were a little extra excited for Alice and Levi’s wedding day because it was the very first wedding the ENTIRE Mallory McClure team was traveling to together. So, Brooke, Lilly & I packed our sandals and hubbies and made the trip down to Cape Charles, Virginia to spend the weekend in a beautiful Victorian rental and photographed Alice and Levi’s perfect day. Although it was September the weather couldn’t have been better on the little island. It was quiet and peaceful and the most un-touristy beach we have ever come across. People were mostly getting around the island on bicycles and golf carts and that relaxed “vacationy” feel carried into the whole day. The couple was as laid back as they come and put all their trust into us and our crazy ideas, meaning we were able to drag them across the entire island all day for the best of photos – all the while feeding us scrumptious food and entertaining us with their fun personalities.
As Ryan and I pulled into Cape Charles, you could almost touch the peaceful vibe that oozed from this charming bayside town. The moment we pulled up to the ceremony site, I smiled in anticipation for our girl to finally marry the man of her dreams. The rehearsal went as I’m sure most of them do, smoothly and quickly. The gentlemen were reminded of how to hold their hands, the bridesmaids were professionals, and Alice’s sweet niece made sure that everyone knew she was Auntie’s star of the whole show. After we all took in the breath-taking sunset over the bay, we joined our favorite Pitt couple for rehearsal dinner. Here, Levi’s youngest brother read a quote by a “very famous published author, his third grade self.” After he brought the house down in tears with his final sentiment of “everyone should have a brother like Levi,” the other speeches all seemed to revolve around that word, finally.
The next day was a perfect sunny day with the bay breeze giving relief from the warm sunshine. Alice was cool, calm, and covered in cat prints as to be expected from this sweet, self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady.” Alice’s crew of ladies were over-flowing with excitement that this amazing woman was FINALLY getting what she has wanted for so many years. Levi’s excitement was written all over his face, but he and his boys kept busy doing what they love most, hitting golfballs. What sticks out to me the most, is not just the amazing day or how much fun we all had, but the true testament to how much this couple is loved. There were people from Altoona, Holidaysburg, Ellicot City, Ohio, Washington, Colorado, and our own little slice of heaven in Central PA. Levi and Alice love their friends and family so well that when people received those gorgeous blue and gold invitations, there was no question of whether or not to go, because we were all in! They had been anticipating this day for years, despite Levi’s constant reassurance that they would get married in 2017, they just wanted it to happen NOW! But as we have all learned from these two, good things come to those who wait and we all had waited a very long time for them to become the DeLoziers, with a capital “D” and “L.” ; )
Levi and Alice, thank you. Thank you for choosing Mallory McClure Photography to document your beautiful day. Thank you for inviting my husband and I to attend your momentous occasion and including us into your amazing circle of friends and family. You’ll never know how truly honored we all were to witness this amazing union happen and get to participate in all the festivities. We will drink happily from the most appropriate favor, our “Perfect Blend” coffee mugs, and cheers you both every morning. We love you and cannot wait to see where your adventure leads. Now, that wedding season has come to its graceful end, we are finally able to take a breath and look back through all of the beautiful wedding days we had the honor of taking part in. Emily and Ross’s day was particularly beautiful. It was sunny, but crisp and the leaves were in their final stretch of pale green and throughout the whole day you could feel nothing but a relaxed and easy going vibe.
It was about ten years ago in high school when Ross and Emily first met and it is easy to see why they were drawn to one another. Ross’s jovial personality matched with Emily’s amazing smile was infectious every time we were around them. And their laid back nature on their wedding day made for the most perfect atmosphere. The day began at golden hour at the always stunning Riverdale Manor where the large trees towered over us and the calm stream trickled by. Emily wowed us all in her Maggie Sottero gown, but Ross’s first reaction as he saw his bride coming towards him said it all. After the ceremony we had the pleasure of photographing their dear families and witnessing the different generations come together in support of this sweet, sweet couple. And the sweetness did not end there. The support of their siblings and friends in their bridal party was humbling (and they kept us in stitches ALL day!). The smiles flowed over to our favorite time of the wedding day – getting to photograph the bride and groom! It never ceases to amaze us as we witness a newly married couple taking a few moments of quiet and calm together. As we made our way into the reception, Mixed Up DJ’s had the dance music going and we knew the party was officially on!
Thank you, Ross and Emily, for becoming part of the Mallory McClure Photography family and for allowing us to be a part of this amazing journey you have set out on! And thank you to all of the wonderful friendors we had the honor of working with. You truly were all a dream!

While in the midst of wedding season, it seems absolutely impossible to blog as much as we’d like to. The last couple of months have been filled with beautiful couples, stunning venues, deep emotions, and scrumptious wedding food. It is hard to find a quiet moment to sit and write down your thoughts in between editing marathons, coffee runs, and wedding day coverage. However, this vintage inspired beauty from May has been on our hearts for a while now and we just had to carve out some time to share it with you. Where to even begin though? Anna and Conor got married on top of a mountain at the breathtaking Pisgah Alter and celebrated their union with friends and family on the grounds of the Guesthouse on the Isle of Que in Selinsgrove, PA. The day was full of beautiful details like the first look the two shared by the river, the pastel color palette that was chosen for the day, and the impressive naked cake that was baked by the grooms mother. The love they have for one another and the anticipation of their big day was unmistakable. Lilly and I loved adventuring around on the Isle of Que with Anna and Conor for some intimate and private moments together (read: as intimate and private as it can get with two crazy photographer ladies following you around gasping and cheering at all of the gorgeousness haha). We thought they couldn’t get any more amazing, but then the mountain top ceremony happened and our jaws dropped. The backdrop was nothing short of amazing and we loved how involved everyone was. Conor’s dad not only officiated the ceremony, but also serenaded us with his guitar. We even got to witness a tradition new to us in which the couples’ wedding bands were passed around from row to row so all of the guests could put their blessing on them. After the ceremony everyone travelled to the Isle of Que for a celebration by the river. We had a blast getting to photograph not only the stunning couple, but the amazing creations by all of the talented vendors who had a part in making Anna and Conor’s day as amazing as it was. A huge thank you to Jacqueline Dziadosz Invitations and Designs for the beautiful invitations and programs. Make Up by Cait and the Brick House Hair Salon did a fantastic job at enhancing everyone’s natural beauty and they were easily complimented by the stunning floral designs of Rine’s Florist and Greenhouse. And thank you to Anna and Conor for having Lilly and I on your beautifully stunning wedding day! We hope you enjoy this peek into their day and can feel the love they share!
