I am so honored that you stopped by today! For me, life is one big adventure and the more trips I take around the sun the more I find the beauty in each part of the journey. Whether you are blissfully engaged, happily married, preparing to bring forth new life, or find yourself rekindling the spark, we want to hear from you. It is our mission to serve and support couples no matter what stage of life you are in.
This wedding season one of our greatest wishes came true as we photographed a wooded elopement surrounded by waterfalls and the peacefulness of nature!
Rachel and Carson met one night while they were out with friends. It took no time for them to realize there was something special between them and it is easy to see the connection when you hang out with them. Their jovial nature with one another is adorable and even though they have been together a few years now, it’s as if they are still in those first exciting stages of a relationship when everything is new and seeing that person makes your heart thump a little louder and a little faster.
They made it official with one of the coolest wedding weekends we have been a part of! The festivities began with an elopement style ceremony at Adams Falls at Ricketts Glen State Park. It was amazing! Rachel made her grand entrance towards her groom down the beautiful stone staircase that is built into the mountainside.
Carson’s face when he saw his beautiful bride said it all (see below!). As we stood on the large boulder that protruded out into the falls, you could hear the peaceful crashing of the waterfall behind them. You could just feel the presence of love and harmony with the earth as if we were a part of it. With the ceremony complete, we adventured up and down the trails and when Rachel said she was up for hiking back into the waterfalls I almost died of excitement!
The following day after the elopement, Lilly met up with Rachel and Carson at Sweet Water Springs Farm where the celebration continued with their family and friends. The venue’s beautiful bridal suite (one of our favorites!) was the perfect place for the adorable newlyweds to get ready and enjoy some time together before their guests arrived. When the time came, they ate, they drank, and they were married! It was time to raise a toast to the new Mr. and Mrs. Goshorn and kick of your shoes to hit the dance floor!
The entire weekend was magical, peaceful, one with nature, and good for the soul! Thank you, Rachel and Carson, for having us as part of your intimate wedding celebration!
